Founded in 1876 as a small-scale market gardening business, Johannes Bruns’ family-run company has grown steadily over 130 years to become one of Europe’s leading plant nurseries.
Bruns’ plants are sold all over Europe, with the product range now comprising not only trees and shrubs from seedlings to 50-year-old specimen trees but also perennials. More than 300 qualified members of staff look after our many different types of plants and take care of marketing and sales.
The Bruns nursery product catalogue is printed annually and serves as an essential compendium for landscape architects, garden designers and horticulturists and is an important reference for apprentice gardeners and students.
Our new app now offers Bruns’ collective plant expertise as a digital reference and supplements the print catalogue and online plant information database (www.bruns.de/pflanzeninformationssystem).
It provides comprehensive information about size, growth, needles/foliage, roots, preferred position and soil requirements of each plant as well as plenty of other useful information about deciduous trees and shrubs, roses, bamboos, conifers, rhododendrons, perennials, grasses and topiaries from the Bruns nursery product range.
